17 weeks to reclaim our collective imagination,

one chapter of Peter Pan at a time

This is for the dreamers.

We know the power of story as a way of healing. If ever there was the time for the story of Peter Pan, this is the time. Because, it’s going to take the reckless abandon of a pirate and all the magic in fairies to restore our belief in Neverland.

It has been a difficult year for so many of us; so many children have been told “no” in so many ways with restrictions and safety measures and more.

Let’s let the children reclaim their childhood and join us in the adventure of Peter Pan in taking back Neverland. It’s “second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning.”

Four Ways to Engage

1. Listen to the story (new chapter every Wednesday)

Chapter One: Peter Breaks Through

Chapter Two: The Shadow

Chapter Three: Come Away, Come Away!

Chapter Four: The Flight

Chapter Five: The Island Come True

Chapter Six: The Little House

Chapter Seven: The Home Underground

Chapter Eight: The Mermaids’ Lagoon

Chapter Nine: The Never Bird

Chapter Seventeen: When Wendy Grew Up

2. Move to the music

3. Create with facilitation ideas

4. Connect with community

This is for the greater good

“Teach the children that the world is good, so when it’s not they will know how to put it back.”

- Kim John Payne

This is for the grown-ups

"It is the nightly custom of every good mother after her children are asleep to rummage in their minds and put things straight for next morning, repacking into their proper places the many articles that have wandered during the day.

If you could keep awake (but of course you can't) you would see your own mother doing this and you would find it very interesting to watch. It's quite like tidying up drawers. You would see her on her knees, I expect, lingering humorously over some of your contents, wondering where on Earth you picked this thing up, making discoveries sweet and not so sweet, pressing this to her cheek, as if it were a nice kitten, and hurriedly stowing that out of sight.

When you wake in the morning, the naughtiness and evil passions with which you went to bed have been folded up small and placed at the bottom of your mind and on the top, beautifully aired, are spread out the prettier thoughts, ready for you to put on.”

- JM Barrie

We believe in the sanctuary of childhood.
